Please note that the following terms and conditions apply to all Go Drive pupils:
• We reserve the right to amend driving lessons if we are unable to keep the appointment in the event of pre-booked driving tests, mechanical breakdown, sickness, pre-booked holidays or due to immovable traffic.
• Lessons will be conveyed verbally in detail before making any lesson booking.
• Go Drive requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for a lesson to be cancelled without charge. Lessons cancelled with less than the required notice will be charged in full (this includes failure to turn up for an appointment).
• Failure to show – your instructor will wait at your pick-up point for 15 minutes. The full fee will be charged for the appointment.
• All pupils must hold a valid, in-date Isle of Man provisional (or full) driving licence. This must be shown at the start of your fist lesson.
• It is a pupil’s sole responsibility to ensure that their licence is renewed as and when necessary. Should a pupil attend a lesson while not holding such a licence, the lesson cannot take place, but will be charged in full.
• It is a legal requirement for all pupils to be capable of reading a vehicle registration plate from a distance of 20.5 metres (with glasses or contact lenses if necessary). Should a pupil attend a lesson without being able to do so (for example, if they have forgotten their glasses), the lesson cannot take place, but will be charged in full.
